Nancy Reagan Lunches With Michelle Obama

No seance was involved

A few months ago, Barack Obama made an embarrassing comment about the widow Nancy Reagan and seances. See the video at the end of this article for his exact words. However, since then the president has apologized for having offended. Now, Nancy Reagan will come to the White House to meet with the current First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Rachel Swarns blogs for the New York Times that Mrs. Obama and Reagan will meet for the first time over lunch at the White House. It should be a delightful affair.

Commemorating Dutch’s 100th birthday

Nancy Reagan is in Washington D.C. for “the unveiling of a statue in the Capitol of her husband, President Ronald Reagan,” writes Swarns. The seven-foot statue is being placed in commemoration of Ronald “Dutch” Reagan’s 100th birthday. Apparently changes needed to be made to the original casting (per Nancy’s instructions), but no easy payday loan or payday loans from direct lender were needed to fund the changes.
