Verizon iPhone release date ?

Ever since its original release, non-AT and T cell phone users are hoping for a payday loans to pay for this Verizon iPhone?

CDMA network compatibility will determine the Verizon iPhone release date

The Wall Street Journal report quotes several anonymous sources that are “close to Verizon” in saying the Verizon iPhone release date can be in fall of this year. A thinner, faster iPhone is also rumored to be in the works. Both of these rumors are built on the idea that Apple is developing a CDMA wireless network chip for the iPhone.

Qualcomm confirmed they’re designing an Apple CDMA chip, but also told CNN they would be “very hard pressed” to finish it by the end of 2010. Not even the promise of easy cash loans can help speed the chip along. Even if Qualcomm has a functioning CDMA or multi-network chip, Apple would need to re manufacture the iPhone to handle the new chip manufacturer.

2011 is target date for Verizon iPhone release

Verizon iPhones face technological challenges. The WSJ article quote says that Apple only “appears to be” working on a Verizon-compatible handset. It is no secret that Apple has been developing a CDMA chip for the iPhone, and is in fact working with Qualcomm on WCDMA multi-channel chip that would allow the phone to work across most cellular networks.

Just because Apple “appears to be working on” something and admitted to be working on does not make the Verizon iPhone release date immanent. Most people who watch the wireless industry seem to agree that the Verizon iPhone will release – but not until 2011.
