Candid comments from Cowboys owner: Jerry Jones drunk video

Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys won't need a loan anytime soon given that he is famous and rich. As proven by the video of Jerry Jones going wild on the internet, sometimes the price of fame is steep. Shot with a cell phone camera, the Jerry Jones drunk video includes some juicy comments about Tim Tebow, Bill Parcells and Tony Romo.

The Cell phone caught Jerry Jones drunk

The Jerry Jones drunk video was shot in an unknown bar, where Jones was knocking back a couple of cocktails with some unknown drinking buddies. An opportunistic patron used his cell phone to secretly shoot a clearly inebriated Jones as he answered questions about Tebow, Parcells and Romo. The video first showed up on Deadspin.com, which no doubt will collect a big pay day from all the attention.

Jerry Jones when he speaks his mind

In the video, Jerry Jones is heard calling Tony Romo a “miracle,” although various Dallas Cowboy fans, whose memories include multiple Super Bowl winners Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach, may disagree. The picture quality in the video is poor. With the poor lighting and grainy picture quality, you are able to barely see Jones. Yet, the video is still priceless.

The whiskey did the talking for Jerry Jones

The Jerry Jones video of him drunk isn't the first time the man from Arkansas has titillated Texans with alcohol fueled commentary. After his Cowboys won the 1993 Super Bowl, media reports appeared where Jones said “any one of 500 coaches could have won those Super Bowls” referring to the players Jones himself drafted and signed. At a cocktail party, Jones told reporters that he wanted to replace Jimmy Johnson, Cowboys coach and old college buddy, with the former University of Oklahoma coach, Barry Switzer. But the morning after Jones said it “was the whiskey talking.”

Jerry Jones drunkenly disses Tebow and Parcells

Within the Jerry Jones drunk video, the owner of the Cowboys said that had Dallas drafted him, Tim Tebow would never have gotten onto the field. Off camera, somebody said that Jones could draft Tebow just to sell the jerseys if he owned the Jacksonville Jaguars. Then the conversation gets juicy. Jones said “That’s why I brought in Parcells.” Bringing in Parcells was evidently the signal Cowboys supporters needed to help build Jones' new stadium. His excellent opinion of Parcells: “Bill’s not worth a bleep. I love him."

Mouths being kept shut by Jerry Jones minions

The Dallas Morning News was told the club had no comment by the Cowboys director of public relations, Rich Dalrymple. The Dallas Morning News couldn't reach the one who resigned from the Cowboys after the 2006 season, Parcells, but he said his relationship with Jones was friendly. Jones could very well get into trouble with the NFL for is drunken rambling. Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner, uses a strict personal conduct policy to ride herd on players and owners within the league. Jerry, get out your credit card.

With money, Jerry Jones puts food in mouth

With his mouth, Jones has gotten himself into trouble with the league before. Jones was fined $ 25,000 for publicly criticizing referee Ed Hochuli after Hochuli made a controversial call in a game between the San Diego Chargers and the Denver Broncos on Sept. 14, 2008. On his radio show, he said Hochuli was one of one of the most criticized officials in the NFL. Jones drew a six-figure fine for violating a gag order on labor issues in 2009.
