Ex-NFL enforcer Conrad Dobler calls out Saints QB Drew Brees

Claims Brees is against retired players because of his NFL pension statements

Super Bowl XLIV will heat up the gridiron on Sunday, February 7 as the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints drive for their piece of NFL immortality. In the week leading up to the game, however, some off-the-field action has captured the media spotlight: Conrad Dobler and Drew Brees are engaged in a smash-mouth war of words. It has a lot to do with money, and since Conrad Dobler’s body is effectively 90 percent disabled, he isn’t able to actively work so that payday loans could help him.

What’s their beef?

Earlier this season, Saints QB Drew Brees came out against retired NFL great Conrad Dobler for criticizing the current player’s union. Apparently players like Dobler don’t feel that disabled former players are compensated appropriately (or at all) by the NFL pension plan.
