10 pieces of Lost trivia Lost is back!

Lost comes back Tuesday, February 2nd and I can't wait!

I have watched Lost since it premiered September 22, 2004. And really-who hasn't? Want to make small talk in line at the grocery store, on the bus or on the plane? Talk Lost. Everyone watches Lost and everyone is waiting on pins and needles for the beginning of the end. The last season is this year, as you know, if you are reading this post, and it all starts to end this Tuesday. So, here are 10 tidbits of trivia with Lost. Did you know all of this?

10 things to know about Lost

  1. What is one of the most expensive shows ever made on television? Yes, you got it. Lost. Because it has a huge cast and because it is filmed on location in beautiful Hawaii, it is very expensive. But, as much as it costs to make, the stars and all the others involved in Lost are sure making money; no personal installment loan or paydayloans for any of them.
  2. How many season will Lost have been on the air when this season concludes? When Lost ends in May of this year, it will have been on 6 seasons, with 121 episodes.
  3. Will there be a Lost spinoff? At this point, ABC has decided that the answer is no.
  4. What is the name of the flight that crashed? Oceanic Flight 815.
  5. Are the characters on the island actually dead? According to J.J. Abrams, no. He has also said there are no aliens, spaceships, etc.
  6. Was Jack supposed to die in the first season? Yes, and they hoped to cast Michael Keaton as Jack. But when they couldn't get Keaton, they got Matthew Fox and decided they liked him enough to keep him.
  7. Did Dominic Monaghan actually audition for the part of Sawyer? Yes, and Sawyer was supposed to be wearing a suit but still the con man. However, the producers decided to cast Dominic as Charlie, a better fit they thought, and so do I.
  8. Did Josh Holloway forget his lines at his original audition? Yes, and he got angry and kicked a chair. They liked the edginess he would be bringing to Sawyer and gave him the role.
  9. Was Ben (Michael Emerson) supposed to be a regular? No, Ben was only supposed to be in 3 episodes.
  10. How many people were on Oceanic Flight 815 and how many survived? 324 on the flight, 71 survived (and one dog).
