Back in the Swing

Phew! There’s a lot to catch up on after a long Presidents’ Day weekend. It’s Olympics day 5 and with the Vancouver games in full-swing, there’s been no shortage of excitement so far! Last night’s pairs figure skating competition proved that anything is possible as teams from China took the top two spots, ending four decades of Russian domination in the sport.

Tonight, you can catch Team USA in the Olympic ice hockey competition as both the men and the women begin their quest for medals. You can also catch the medal rounds of the women’s luge competition and the men’s 500m speed skating. Check out the full schedule for more details!

Love was in the air for one celebrity couple this long Valentine’s weekend. After several years and two kids together, former celebutante Nicole Richie and long-time boyfriend Joel Madden announced their engagement on David Letterman’s show. While the couple has been engaged for quite some time, they’ve managed to keep it a secret thanks to close-lipped friends and family. Do you think that this will put an end to all of the tabloid break-up rumors?

Mitt Romney , on the other hand, was not feeling the love yesterday. He and his wife were returning from the Vancouver Olympics yesterday when a fellow airline passenger tried to punch the former Massachusetts governor after Romney asked him to return his seatback to the upright position prior to takeoff. The plane returned to the gate and the passenger was removed.
