Will Fleur De Lys, Suzanne Saperstein’s Estate, Be Sold To Mariah Carey?

Will Suzanne Saperstein Sell Her Estate To Mariah Carey?

Real estate watchers are about the only ones that have kept a close eye on Suzanne Saperstein, the “billionaire divorcee”. Now, almost 3 years after putting her $ 125 million Fleur de Lys estate on the market, rumors are that it might just be sold. Suzanne Saperstein may end up not needing a mortgage loan modification, if the latest rumors are true.

Suzanne Saperstein’s home off the market?

Suzanne Saperstein's estate has been on the market for the last three years. The 12 bedroom, 15 bathroom, 35,000 square foot palace has been on the market for numerous years, but Suzanne Saperstein has refused to cut the price. Nick Cannon and hubby Mariah Carey have been rumored to put a bid in on the estate now. A first edition library, screening room, multiple kitchens, and a full five acres are also involved within the purchase price. If she gets a very good interest rate on a 30 year mortgage, Mariah Carey will be looking at about $709,000 a month in mortgage payments.

The high-profile divorce of Suzanne Saperstein

Of course, Suzanne Saperstein is known for more than just her multi-million dollar home. Suzanne Saperstein was the wife of oil mogul David Saperstein. On board the business jet, during a layover in Texas, Suzanne was served divorce papers from her husband. Her husband left her for the nanny. This incredibly high-profile divorce was one of one of the most costly in L.A. history.

The rogue of 90210 – Suzanne Saperstein?

Instead of sitting around and doing nothing since her divorce, Suzanne Saperstein, previous Swedish model, has been trying to “explore new things.” She has taken up competitive Latin dancing, started a clothing line for equestrians, helped her daughters start a drunk-driving awareness fashion line and a lot more. Suzanne is also spending a chunk of cash on beginning a ballroom where same-gender couples are as welcomed and encouraged as opposite-gender couples. She may not be marching on the White House or causing riots, but this ultra-rich socialite is quietly — and expensively — making a name for herself.
