Betty White SNL And Next Is Global Domination!

There were calls for a Betty White SNL episode, and that desire has been met. Now, fans of “the elder stateswoman of funny” are demanding a lot more. A Facebook campaign has begun to get Betty White as host of the Oscars. The octogenarian is having a career renaissance, having had several large successes over the last few years, and after her turn within the Proposal with Sandra Bullock, she has become increasingly popular with the younger crowd. If this keeps up, the Academy may deem fronting the cash til payday loan for her a worthy cause and a way to get a ratings boost.

Big ratings for Betty White SNL

The Betty White SNL was stellar. (Did you see the skit where she yelled “Wizard of …” never mind.) She was hilarious, and funny and Saturday Night Live are things that are thought to not coincide anymore. (Oh, admit it. They’ve been slipping.) The ratings demonstrably improved. In her monologue, she thanked Facebook users that had campaigned to get her onto the show, and then ripped Facebook to shreds, calling it “a huge waste of time.” Now a Getting Betty White to Host the Academy Awards is a growing Facebook group.

Betty White has really been a career actress in television and in films for decades. In the '80s she was on Golden Girls, and she has appeared on other television series also as films given that then.
