A team of scientists researching at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University have done a lot of experimenting and studying to invent a new mechanism which owns up the responsibility to turn on and off a gene which assists the speedy growth of breast cancer of females. Earlier, researchers have traced a gene in the name of ZBP1 or Zip code Binding Protein-1 which is very active to let cells to grow and move spatially. This ZBP1 helps the improvement of the embryo and it is much silent in the matured tissues as per the report given by Dr Robert H. Singer, a well known researcher at Gruss-Lipper Biophotinics Center at Einstein. This gene also produces adverse impact on the breast and colorectal inclusive of lung cancer. The turning off process of the ZBP1 happens after the attachment of the CH3 to ZBP1's promoter segment. This CH3 debars the promoter from fixing to beta-catenin. ZBP1 can't be active without beta-catenin. Due to the ZBP1 silencing process , the ability of the cancerous cells to speed up the metastasis process increases. Therefore if it is possible to stop the ZBP1 silencing process, there is higher possibility of the prevention of the metastasis.
