GM Stock Tanks After Short-Term Bailout Announced

A stinging quick rinse

Susan Tompor of the Detroit Free Press writes in a recent editorial that GM will have 30 days to detangle. President Obama calls it a “quick-rinse” bankruptcy. GM stock has tumbled as a result. Investors don’t see more cash advance loans coming from the Obama administration.

Brad Coulter of O’Keefe & Associates said that “the quick rinse sounds good; I just don’t know if it would really work.” The fast-track, pre-packaged reorganization plan the Obama administration appears ready to lay on General Motors is intended to erase debt and contractual obligations, but it has also never been done in this way before.

What would happen?

We don’t know for certain yet. Not until President Obama explains his intentions more fully. Some speculate that the federal government will specify exactly how much money will be made available for what creditors. Take it or leave it.

“We’re in new territory,” Coulter said. “Unless a lot of government funding were involved, I’m not sure how the quick rinse would work.”

No more bailouts?

President Obama has made it clear that the GM and Chrysler will have a limited amount of time to work with creditors, unions, and other stakeholders. They must fix the mess they’ve made by completely restructuring their business, which is no small task to complete in 30 days. ... click here to read the rest of the article titled "GM Stock Tanks After Short-Term Bailout Announced"

My Experience With Loans

Even Poor Loans Can’t Speed Up Your Love Life!

I recently took out poor loans after I signed up for speed dating; I wanted to purchase a new suit so I could make a good expression. Unfortunately, I didn’t meet the ONE! But hey, at least they served us dinner that was really good, and I had no trouble getting the cash loan I needed.

This not so bad experience prompted me to sign up for another speed dating event. I told my mom that I had started speed dating and that it was a good way to meet new people. She simply replied, “You can’t attract girls if you don’t have the cash to take the next step and take them out on a one-on-one date.”

I barely got home from my cart pushing job at Wal-Mart, only to log on to my Yahoo account and looked at an e-mail for another speed dating extravaganza, the largest one yet. It was then that I realized that I needed to really put myself together for this one. I figured that if I looked as fine-looking as I could, that I could possibly meet the ONE!

I then saw that this extravaganza was also the priciest of any speed dating event that I had attended. I also realized that I would need a haircut, facial, and a trendy new outfit. However, with a week to go before payday, I would need some more money. In this case, I knew that cash advances would do me some good.

I called around to a couple of money lending places looking for a loan with a good rate, but unfortunately my credit is shot. I had a credit card that I’d racked up a huge balance, and subsequently defaulted on the payments, so it went to collections. Therefore, many lenders wouldn’t even think of giving me a loan. Thankfully, the last lender I called offered small bad credit loans, and I was able to get the fast cash I needed before my extravaganza.

Later that evening I headed out for my special speed dating event and I was looking fly. Once I arrived at the extravaganza I quickly saw several ladies that I couldn’t wait to meet. The dating began and I was on a roll with the smooth talk; one lady even referred to me as, “Not like all the other guys out there.”

As the night came to close, I realized that I didn’t really win the award for most digits collected. Even though I felt like I was a real Rico Suave, I couldn’t help but notice that every other guy seemed to be leaving with a lady friend. How was I the only one who didn’t meet a companion?
Maybe I had tried too hard, maybe it was the overwhelming stench of cheap Tag body spray that I doused myself in or it could have possibly been the bowl-esk haircut the stylist had given me earlier that day. Regardless of what it was, I realized that searching for the one at speed dating extravaganzas wasn’t the way to go.

The moral of the story is that while low payday loans can give you the money you need, they can’t help you meet girls. Maybe I shouldn’t look for dates in unconventional ways anymore. But nevertheless, I tell all my friends that poor loans from sites like personalmoneystore.com really do give you cash in a flash.

The New Kid In Town

Hey everybody! I'm kinda new to this whole blogging concept and I'm quite excited to get my blog on the fast track. I felt like I needed an outlet for my thoughts, this is when a friend of mine suggested this site. I'm hoping to enlighten myself with the blogging culture. I currently make my living as a educator and was in need for a hobby, so I hope that this blog will keep me busy.
